Movendos is a member of a regional HealthHUB in Tampere, Finland. Now Movendos is preparing to the final pitching of EIT Digital Challenge, which will be held in Eindhoven, Netherlands 24th of November. The category is Digital Wellbeing. The autumn has been successful – it’s been also time of growing business and a new company concept.

On the way to Eindhoven

For the Movendos team participating EIT Digital Challenge finals is rewarding after many years of hard work in Finland. The CEO Arto Leppisaari and account director Paula Mäkeläinen will travel to the finals. They are very enthusiastic to meet potential business and cooperation partners internationally.

– Being recognized as one of the finalists is a reward as itself and it clearly shows that our technology and service concept create interesting value, Paula mentions.

There are two main business lines in Movendos: secured screening and on-line coaching technology for professional use and an individual holistic coaching concept. The service and technology solution of Movendos enables combining face to face or video meetings to individually tailored online coaching, which is independent from time and place. This way the help of a professional coach is brought into daily life to support new positive habits and micro changes.

Movendos office is located in Tampere, Finland, and they have technology customers all over Finland from occupational healthcare providers to rehabilitation and public sector. The Movendos coaching concept is mainly focusing on individual and holistic support related to workplace wellness, but in the close future also public sector needs private coaching service for preventive actions.

The next natural move would be growing towards foreign markets. This is where EIT can be of great benefit.
