Privacy Policy

This is the Privacy Statement for Movendos Ltd’s Customer and Marketing Activities. Movendos Ltd undertakes to comply with the data protection and personal legislation in force in Finland, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). This report describes how Movendos Ltd processes the personal data of its current and potential customer liaison officers and users of its other services in its customer relationship and marketing activities. Movendos Ltd personnel is obliged to keep all personal information strictly confidential.

3. Purpose and rationale for processing of personal data

Personal data is used by Movendos Ltd to:

  • Targeting customer communications and marketing efforts
  • Providing, personalizing and developing services
  • Communication and marketing of services and events
  • For managing, maintaining and developing existing and potential customer relationships
  • For planning and developing the business of the registrar
  • For market research and other statistical purposes

Personal data will be processed based on the consent of the data subject, the fulfillment of the data controller’s legitimate interests or the preparation or implementation of a contract to which the data subject is a party.

Personal data retention is partially outsourced to external service providers. The Controller warrants that such outsourcing shall be in accordance with applicable data protection and personal legislation and that the information contained in this Personal Data Register shall not be used by outside service providers for their own purposes.

The following information can be stored and processed in the register. Not all of the information below may be available for each user.

  • E-mail address, name, telephone number, organization, position in the organization
  • Changes to the above information
  • Information collected through cookies on the data subject’s visits and activities on the Registrar’s website

In addition, the register may contain other notes relating to the data subject and his / her potential customer relationship, as well as other information necessary for the proper management of the customer relationship. This may include, for example, information on the subscriber’s newsletter sign-ups, past or future attendance at events, contact requests, or information on the subscriber’s subscribed services, delivery and billing.

5. Retention period of personal data

The data collected in the register shall be kept only for such time and to the extent that this is necessary and legally permitted in relation to the original or compatible purposes for which the personal data were collected. In principle, personal data will be retained for a maximum of two (2) years from the last active transaction between the data subject and the Controller. The data will be deleted when the retention period specified above has expired. Where necessary, personal data may be used after the end of the customer relationship, if required by applicable law.

In addition, the controller shall take all reasonable steps to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, inaccurate or out of date with regard to the purposes of the processing are rectified or erased immediately.

The controller has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data from accidental or unlawful loss, disclosure, misuse, alteration, destruction or unauthorized access.

Access to the register is subject to the instructions of the controller organization, and access to the personal register is restricted so that the information stored in the system can be accessed and accessed only by employees who are authorized to do so by their job and need information. The information systems used to process personal data shall be adequately technically protected and accessed by appropriate means, including personal usernames and passwords. The registry information is backed up securely. Personal data will be destroyed in a secure manner.

The data subject shall have the right to inspect the data concerning him in the register and to request correction of any inaccurate, incomplete or outdated data. The request for inspection may be made free of charge once a year. Requests for inspection and repairs shall be addressed to the contact person of the registry whose contact details are located at the beginning of this leaflet, either by visiting him personally or by sending a signed letter or similar document to ensure the applicant’s right to the request. Requests for verification shall be answered within one month of the request being made.

The data subject shall have the right at any time to withdraw his or her prior consent to the processing of data or to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority with regard to the processing of his or her personal data. The data subject shall also have the right to request the deletion of his or her personal data from the register provided that they are no longer required for the purposes for which they were collected or otherwise processed or that there are no statutory obligations on the controller to process or store them. The data subject also has the right to request the restriction of the processing of his or her personal data or to object to the processing of personal data concerning him or her, for example for direct marketing and related profiling.
